The Greatest Inventor on Earth Receives first PILLED Award (In Minecraft)

10 Years ago, an Argentinian created the YouTube channel “Ahchx1”.

This channel featured videos of their Minecraft world, running a version of the “Zeppelin” mod made by “Blakmajik”, and “Glimmar’s Steampunk Texture Pack”. This perfect intersection of interests, combined with the ethereal midi soundtrack was like crack cocaine to the minds of 10 year-olds.

While Ahchx1 did not enjoy broad popularity, their impact was far deeper than many YouTubers that did. In the truest sense of the term, Ahchx1 “pilled” me.

I was Ahchx1 pilled.

I remember not only watching those videos on repeat, but attempting to copy everything that was built in them, learning how to install every mod used and how to build the simple redstone needed to work the guns, and I began to build my own airships as well. For better or worse, I became more and more proficient at computers as a direct result of the actions of this anonymous Argentinian.

This lynchpin in my childhood has since disappeared, however. There hasn’t been a video upload on the channel in nine long years. This is a problem for PILLED, as we don’t have anyone to give the award to, or to interview for this award.
